In late January, my husband and I packed up our Ford Lightning and headed south on an impromptu road trip with two goals: travel as much of the coast as possible, and make it to Palm Desert in time to watch the Seahawks win the Super Bowl. (Mission accomplished on both counts.)
After sharing a few highlights in a recent client mailer, several of you asked for the full itinerary — so here it is. Whether you’re planning your own Pacific Coast drive or just enjoy a good road trip story, I hope this is helpful.

Today, as we celebrate Presidents Day, I’ve been thinking about a leader who shaped so much of what we’re able to enjoy today — especially when we’re out on the open road.
Late Thursday night, I returned home from a three week vacation in Italy visiting my son and daughter-in-law, who are currently living in Europe. This is the longest vacation away from my wonderful hubby and work that I have ever done. My fantastic sister-in-law Marilyn joined me on this adventure to celebrate her retirement from Mortgage Master Service Corporation.
