15 years ago today, I left my title and escrow career of fourteen years behind for a career in the mortgage industry at Mortgage Master Service Corporation. When I told the real estate agents that I worked with as their title rep for many years that I was “retiring” to become a loan officer, many thought I was playing an April Fools joke on them!
My Personal Tiki Mug
My Mom is a very talented artist and has recently started creating custom tiki cups as a hobby. Check out this one she made of me!
I’m BACK from my Pointless vacation in the San Juan Islands and British Columbia
I’m back home in Seattle from a two week (okay, just over 2 week) vacation on our sailboat, Pointless. We cruised the San Juans, up to Princess Louisa Islet and returned home via the Canadian Gulf Islands. The sailboat is newer to us – we’ve had it almost a year. She’s a Valiant 40 that was built in 1985. We purchased her from the original owners who sailed her around the world while living aboard. My husband has spent the last year lovingly sprucing her up and this vacation was the longest voyage she (or I) have been on to date!
Just for Fun: Black Velvet Janet Yellen
You may or may not know that one of my hobbies is painting. I especially enjoy painting on black velvet and recently completed a painting of our Federal Reserve Board Chair, Janet Yellen.
Because it’s Friday… I thought I’d share it with you just for fun.
Ms. Yellen is now hanging in my office at Mortgage Master Service Corporation.
You can see more of my artwork at www.rhondaporterart.com
National Pet Day
WARNING: this post has NOTHING to do with mortgages… unless you’re considering buying a new home with a large fenced yard for your puppy. 🙂
Today is National Pet Day so I thought I’d take a moment to share a couple photos of our family’s four legged furry kids, Rocko and Hitch. If we’re friends on Facebook, you’re probably already quite familiar with them.
We’ve Moved!!
Our office, Mortgage Master Service Corporation recently moved to Center Point office park. As the name implies, it’s a very central location just south of Southcenter, off of West Valley Highway. Our new space is beautiful and includes a great conference room for home buyer classes, loan applications and mortgage consultations.
