Editors Note: I would like to welcome our “first” Sunday Driver, Jason Mook, who is going to tour us around Sierra Crest in Puyallup. Jason is a Realtor with Windermere Real Estate/South and is the author of Puyallup blog A Generous People.
I’ve lived in this particular area of Puyallup for over seven years and have watched it grow and change, including the addition of the Sierra Crest community. Sierra Crest is part of the Sunrise planned development, which I actively serve.
I absolutely love the clubhouse and pool. The clubhouse really makes Sierra Crest a resort community. While the clubhouse and pool are shared with an equally upscale rental side of the community, condo unit owners have their own private pool and spa with showers and changing rooms at their disposal.
Sierra Crest backs up to a nature preserve owned by the developer. The great thing for Sierra Crest owners is that the developer always builds with this feature in mind and intends to keep the nature preserve in tact for the long term benefit of its owners.
My wife and I live in the area and have a few favorite places to visit. Among them are Modoo Teriyaki, Flying Tomato Italian Grill and Mis Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant. And beginning this year, the nearby Sunrise Village will bring over a half million square feet of retail shopping to the area.
